Conventional cleaning tools like brushes and scrubs are usually made of petroleum-based Polypropylene (PP) or Polyethylene (PE), and nylon, from the bristles to the handles, although cheap to produce, they are extremely harmful to the environment and not biodegradable. Poor disposal habits usually lead to these brushes ending up in our oceans or lying in a landfill for the next 400 years.
It's time to make that switch to sustainability. Switch to cleaning brushes that are made from natural and renewable resources, such as coir, sisal, and beechwood.
Here's a brush set that is earth-friendly. There is a brush for just about every area in your home you can imagine from bottles to plates to pots and pans, the bathroom, and even un-washed potatoes and turnips. They’ll stand up to frequent use but they’re gentle enough to not scratch the dishes.
The brush set consists of 3 different types of brushes. Our Vege Brushes are made of sisal and beechwood, both natural materials that are compostable. The Cylinder Brush which is made of coir (coconut fiber) bristles and beechwood for its handle is shaped like a curled-up cat's tail to scrub the toughest stains in bottles and jars. The All-Purpose Brush is also made of coir; you can use it to practically scrub anything from the kitchen sink to the bathroom.
• scrub and clean vegetables, dishes, and more

• earth-friendly, biodegradable, and compostable
• easy to use
Hang to dry in between uses, on a dry towel or elevated to allow bristles to drain. Never leave submerged in water as it will wear on the wood causing it to crack or may cause the natural bristles to fall out. Wood is naturally antimicrobial, but if you need to clean your brushes, clean bristles with vinegar to kill bacteria.
